Meeting Agenda
• Recently released results from the 2020 census will open up the opportunity to redraw congressional, legislative, and local district boundaries. This will include Philadelphia’s City Council District boundaries. We’ll take a look at what this could mean nationally and locally.
• Committee Person elections in the Riverwards are just around the corner and we plan to have a discussion about the ward system and the importance of getting involved at the committee level. If you’re interested in learning more about the process, or considering running, please attend. We can answer all of the questions you might have about the process.
• Councilmember Mark Squilla will join us to speak on the topics of redistricting and creating safer schools for our communities
