Membership and Dues for Riverwards Area Democrats

Any person who is registered to vote as a Democrat in Philadelphia wards 5, 18, 31, or 25 and supports the purposes of the Riverwards Area Democrats is eligible to become a member.

Standard membership dues are $20 per year, with a sliding scale minimum of $5 for students, seniors, or others based on self-assessed ability to contribute. Additional donation beyond $20 helps us become a stronger organization.

Memberships expire on a calendar-year basis. Dues paid after November 1 shall be considered paid for the coming year.

To be in good standing and eligible to vote at a membership meeting, dues must be paid at least one week prior to the membership meeting.

Riverwards Area Democrats will file reports as a political committee under PA campaign finance rules. Donations, including membership dues, may be used to make campaign contributions or to influence the outcome of elections, in addition to covering the operational expenses of the club.
