Following May’s primary election and a successful grassroots effort to elect progressive committee people across Philadelphia, RAD is thrilled to welcome progressive leadership in all four Democratic wards we organize in! We saw new progressive ward leaders elected to represent Wards 31, 25, and 5, and continued progressive leadership in the 18th Ward, making all four committed to open wards and represented by committee people dedicated to grassroots democracy.

These results demonstrate that RAD's focus on year-round neighborhood-based organizing is a powerful model to advance the progressive movement. And we know that collaboration is the key to our success.

So on July 28th at 6pm, we invite committee people from wards 5, 18, 25, and 31 to join us in the beer garden at Philadelphia Brewing Company to celebrate our collective success and to meet and connect with each other.

We also invite neighbors to join us to meet their committee people and learn more about our plans to get out the vote and engage our communities. 

We will be outdoors in the beer garden (or in the event of inclement weather we will move inside).
