The focus for our March General Meeting will be nomination petitions and poll worker elections. Candidates running for office are required to circulate nomination petitions and receive a certain number of signatures from voters. For the 2025 Primary Election, this includes District Attorney and judicial candidates. It also includes individuals interested in serving as poll workers (Judge of Elections and Majority/Minority Inspectors). The petition period for the 2025 Primary Election ends March 11th.

At this meeting, Committee of Seventy will present on how to complete nomination petitions and run for election board. This will be applicable not only for individuals interested in serving as a poll worker, but also for anyone interested in learning about local elections and the process of getting on the ballot. 

Candidates/campaigns are welcome to join us to seek nominating petition signatures.
