Have you wondered how the candidate names on the sample ballots handed out at the primary election are decided?

Several members of the 18th Ward Democratic Committee will discuss what makes the 18th an "open" ward, and the process by which the ward endorsements are decided by the committee people during primaries.

We are also excited to welcome Jonathan Tannen who runs the Sixty-Six Wards website. He will share his insights on the primary we just had and on the directions Philadelphia is heading for future elections.

We hope you'll join the discussion, and bring some good questions for our speakers!

After the structured meeting, we will invite you to stay and socialize in a breakout session with a couple other attendees.
